OSA laser congress

The 2020 OSA Laser Congress offers a comprehensive view of the latest technological advances in solid state lasers as well as the applications of laser technologies for industrial products and markets.

In collaboration with other labs, we will present 2 technical papers showing the benefits of iXblue Photonics fibers:

195-W Continuous Wave Laser Emission at 2.09 µm from a Tm3+,Ho3+-Codoped Single-Oscillator Monolithic Fiber Laser (JTh2A.11)

Thursday 15th October 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM (UTC -4:00) : Joint Poster Session

We report on a high efficiency (45%) single-oscillator monolithic Tm3+, Ho3+-codoped fiber laser emitting 195 W at 2.09 µm in CW mode of operation, with a beam quality near the diffraction limit (M2 = 1.08).

Frequency-quadrupled Nd-doped fiber laser source in the deep-UV at 226 nm (AF3A.5)

Friday 16th October 1:45 PM to 2:00 PM (UTC -4:00)

We present the first demonstration of a laser source at 226 nm based on the frequency-quadrupling of an all-PM Nd-doped fiber laser. The DUV laser delivers 175 mW of average power, 50 ns pulse at 30 kHz repetition rate.
